A SELECTION OF NOBLE MATERIALS
Particular care has been lavished on the choice of noble and sustainable materials. The old Romanesque tiles come from Toulouse. The Orgnac stone (from the Ardèche) which adorns the facades has been hand-carved. Travertine stone from Italy has been selected for the terraces and entrance hall. The railings on the terraces are designed by Blancher & Palussen and made by a master in wrought ironwork. The partition walls between the rooms contain agglomerated volcanic rock to optimize sound-proofing. As for the joinery, wood from Africa – «merantie nemezu» – has been specially chosen for its long-lasting quality.

The professionals who have participated in the construction and fitting of the Demeure d’Auzigue stand out for both their skills and involvement. A wide range of expertise has thus been placed at the disposal of this exceptional address, from architect to stone mason, cabinet-maker and wrought iron-maker. They have all committed themselves to working as per the rules of the art and endowing the site with their utmost care.
A maintenance firm will be responsible for looking after the communal areas. As regards the interiors, everything has been designed to guarantee long-term comfort and energy savings : underfloor central heating, heat pump and air conditioning, a ceramic shell for the swimming pool (no algae on the walls) with automated filtering.
The residence is entirely enclosed by stone walls crowned by wrought-iron railing. Entrances are secured : remote control from cars for the gate and entrance to the parking facilities, videophone in the lobby, lift to the basement, three-point locks for the entrance doors, outdoor lighting and presence detectors for pathways and gardens.
Inspired by typical Provençal wash-houses, a pool-house of 25 sqm. features a fountain which feeds the superb pool fitted with light variation LEDs, surrounded by a terrace of travertine stone. Consisting of a ceramic shell with a roller cover, the pool is heated by a pump and the water benefits from an automated chlorine treatment. The technical unit is located in the basement.
